 AIM

The school aims at strengthening the potentialities of the children by constructive and creative activities for the all round development of the personality of the pupil. Additionally building of character, team spirit, dedication to purpose, a patriotic outlook and a sense of citizenship are inculcated in the child.

 

OBJECTIVES

1.       To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.

2.       To initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education in collaboration with bodies like the CBSE and the NCERT , Madhubani and Oxford versions in terms of study materials and books.

3.       To develop a spirit of national integration and create a sense of patriotism amongst the children.

4.       To maintain the quality of teaching by appointing academically  well qualified teachers and by maintaining an appropriate teacher pupil ratio  in the classroom.

5.       To prepare the students for the All India Secondary School and All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations that is conducted by the (CBSE) Central Board of Education.

 

ACADEMICS

6.       a)The school provides a study of five scholastic subjects including one language subject   option upto the secondary section.

 

b) The school provides a study of the Science and Commerce stream in the Senior Secondary section. The subject combination available for Classes XI and XII is as given below :

ACADEMIC SESSION

 

7.   Academic Session shall be different for the Nursery, Primary and Secondary Wings due to the inclusion of CCE for the Senior Secondary Wing.

CONTINUOUS COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION (CCE)

CBSE has introduced CCE in all the schools with the objective of facilitating a  holistic learning process. CCE will be followed from class I to X. Per the CBSE guidelines the Academic year consists of two terms.

 

I term Apr- September
II term Oct- March

A student will be assessed in scholastic and non-scholastic aspects spread over the total instructional time in the school with an aim to identify the positive attributes of the learner. The evaluation would include regular tests, assessments,projects, participation in various class and co-curricular activities and concluding in the final examination. 

The syllabus has been divided for each term and the assessment weightage is as given below :

A child will be assessed in scholastic and non-scholastic aspects to provide a holistic profile of the learner spread over the total span of instructional time in the school and helps in identifying the positive attributes of the learner. This is subject to change as per CBSE directive.

Part 1:

Academic Performance : Scholastic area

 

1.              Scheme of Studies : A candidate is required to study :

Language 1:            English /Hindi

Language 2 :           (Any language other than Language

 Mathematics, Science, Social Science

 Additional Subject (optional) :

Any Language other than 1 or 2. Commerce, Painting, Music, Home Science and Fundamentals of Information Technology.

 

2         To qualify in a subject under Scholastic Areas, a candidate must obtain a minimum

             Grade D.

             Those candidates who have obtained Grade !, E2 in the subject under the Scholastic Areas shall have to improve their performance to qualify in the failed subjects.
